Write On Playwriting Competition Kickoff 3-4 p.m. Brewbakers in Middletown, CT
Come to sign learn more about and start writing a play. Brewbakers is providing free coffee for Write On writers from Feb. 5th to Feb 9th from 3-4pm.

Wesleyan 365 Opening Ceremony 8:00 p.m. CFA Theatre
Featuring producers of the national festival Bonnie Metzgar and Rebecca Rugg
Introduction by the Wesleyan 365 Team; a performance of “Unfiltered” by Professor Gina Ulysse: a 20-minute loop that reflects on Parks’ ideal of “Radical Inclusion;” the first 365 Play; Jazz by Marc Anderson.

Come to a workshop and free pizza dinner with the acclaimed theatre theorist Joseph Roach and the Yale 365 team. Professor Roach, chief investigator of the Yale World Performance Project, will lead both Wesleyan's and Yale's 365 team in improv theatre, discuss the 365 project, and touch on his own groundbreaking work.

No Experience Necessary. Come learn UNIVERSES' basic approach toward writing poetry and creating new verse that reflect your own experience. Particular concentration is placed on contextualizing the author's voice in the sphere of twentieth-century music and poetry, in consideration of its relevance and unique power, as well as the ability to shape language to reflect one's unique personal experience.
Wesleyan 365 Gala and Performance 6:00pm & 8:00pm ’92 Theatre
